Privacy Statement
Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) and Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) value and protect the privacy of
our members, partners and users. We thank you for the trust that you place in us and we want
you to know that any information you share with us will be treated with care.
The purpose of our Privacy Statement is to disclose and explain what information we collect
and how we use and/or share it.
This Privacy Statement applies to any information collected by RIA and ISJ via:
- any websites owned or operated by RIA and ISJ ("Websites")
- e-mail or any electronic newsletters in which you enroll
Effective Date: November 11, 2009
The Information We Collect
When you visit the RIA and ISJ Websites, the Web servers log your IP address and the web pages
you visited in standard server logs. We use this information to help diagnose problems
with our servers, determine general site usage and to improve our Web site.
Your IP address contains no personal information about you.
We may use "Cookie" technology to collect Website statistical information and to improve your
customer experience with the RIA and ISJ Websites. Cookies set by RIA and ISJ do not capture
any personally identifiable information (PII). However, if you choose to furnish us with PII,
this information may be linked to the data stored in the Cookie to further enhance your
experience with our Websites.
To use some features on the Websites or for promotion and events, you may submit some PII.
For example, to register for an event, you may be asked for your name and telephone number.
How We Use and Share The Information We Collect
RIA and ISJ use the information we collect about you and others, including PII, to complete
transactions, respond to your requests, deliver the services for which you enroll, and notify you
of updates, services, events, offers, or promotions that may interest you (if you have given
us permission to do so).
Any PII gathered, including your email address, will not be sold or made available
to any third parties for any reason.
Securing Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect
your information from unauthorized access and use. Do not use your e-mail to send
us any personally identifiable information (PII) or private health information (PHI), since it
would be unencrypted and can be read by anyone who receives or intercepts it.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as PHI), that information is
encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking
for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https"
at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also
protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a
specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally
identifiable information or private health information. The computers/servers in which
we store this information are kept in a secure environment.
Updating Your Information
If you wish to correct or update any PII you have supplied in your personal profile, you may
do so by accessing and updating your personal profile on our Website.
Privacy Choices
RIA and ISJ respect the choices that you make regarding your privacy. If you have given us
permission to contact you regarding updates, services, events, offers, or promotions that may
interest you, you may withdraw that permission at any time by updating your personal profile
on our Website.
Changes to this Privacy Statement
RIA and ISJ reserve the right to change this Privacy Statement at any time by posting
revisions on this Website. Such changes will be effective upon posting.
