Preparing for an Appointment Preparing for an Appointment

Before your Appointment

  • Know your insurance coverage for the exam you are having. More Info
  • If you would like a price quote prior to exam, please call 720-493-3793.
  • Know and understand any exam preparation instructions for your exam. More Info
  • Download patient forms and complete them at home if you'd like.
  • Get directions to our facility in the Locations section of our web site.
  • If you had any exams (i.e. CT or MRI) done at another imaging center that are related to the exam for which you are scheduled, get copies of the images from those exams and bring them with you.

Childcare

For their safety, children are not permitted into exam rooms unless they are receiving treatment. Children under the age of 12 may not be left in a waiting room without parental supervision. Please arrange for childcare if necessary.

For Your Appointment

  • Bring the following items with you:
    • Your insurance card
    • Your registration forms, if you filled them out at home
    • Any prior exam images, if applicable
  • If you did not complete the patient registration forms in advance, arrive 20 minutes before your appointment time. Otherwise, arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time.

What to Expect What to Expect

Our technologist or nurse will explain your exam to you so you'll know what to expect.
  • Make sure you ask all your questions.
  • Let the nurse or technologist know about any medications you are taking or conditions you have that may effect your exam.
  • Do not expect to receive your exam results after your appointment. For most exams, the results will be reported to the doctor who ordered your exam.
  • For exams that require a gown, you will be taken to a private area where you can change. We provide warmed gowns for your comfort and a secure area where you may lock up your belongings.

After an Appointment After an Appointment

  • You will be given recovery instructions if they are needed - make sure you understand and follow any recovery instructions you receive.
  • Contact the physician who ordered your exam for your results.
  • If a follow-up exam is needed, whether at Invision Sally Jobe or with your referring physician, make sure you schedule and go to it.
  • Please let us know how we did by filling out our on-line comments form.

  • If you need a copy of your exam results, please call Medical Records at 720-493-3242. You may download the film/report release form and complete it at home if you'd like.
