by letting you know how to prepare and what to expect each step of the way.

Before Your Appointment
- Know your insurance coverage for the exam you are having.

- Know and understand any exam preparation instructions for your exam.

- Download patient forms and complete them at home if you'd like.
- Get directions to our facility if you need them in the
Locations section of our web site.
- If you had any exams (i.e. CT or MRI) done at another imaging center that are related to the exam
for which you are scheduled, get copies of the images from those exams.
- Visit our About Your Exam page to learn more about your
exam or procedure.
For Your Appointment
- Bring the following items with you:
- Your insurance card
- Your registration forms, if you filled them out at home
- Any prior exam images, if applicable
- If you did not completed the patient registration forms in advance, arrive 20 minutes before
your appointment time. Otherwise, arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time.
During Your Appointment
- Make sure you ask all your questions.
- Let the nurse or technologist know about any medications you are taking or conditions you
have that may effect your exam.
- Do not expect to receive your exam results after your appointment. For most exams, the
results will be reported to the doctor who ordered your exam.
- For exams that require a gown, you will be taken to a private area where you can change. We
provide warmed gowns for your comfort and a secure area where you may lock up your belongings.
After Your Appointment
- You will be given recovery instructions if they are needed - make sure you understand and
follow any recovery instructions you receive.
- Contact the physician who ordered your exam for your results.
- If a follow-up exam is needed, whether at RIA or Invision Sally Jobe or with your referring
physician, make sure you schedule and go to it.

download the film/report release form and complete it at home if you'd like.
