Body Imaging

Body imagers are radiologists specializing in the use and interpretation of cross-sectional imaging techniques.

Body imagers are radiologists specializing in the use and interpretation of the latest imaging techniques for evaluation of the chest, abdomen and pelvis. These radiologists have completed additional fellowship training in body imaging after their radiology residency at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country, including Harvard, Duke, Mallinckrodt and Stanford. Using computed tomography (CT scan), ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), they identify neoplastic, inflammatory and traumatic lesions throughout the body. They also provide image-guided biopsies of suspicious lesions and catheter drainage of abnormal fluid collections.
