At the local and regional level, RIA is privileged to sponsor and contribute to the following:
Colorado Neurological Institute
Colorado Neurological Institute (CNI), in partnership with its member physicians, including RIA neuroradiologists who donate their time and serve on CNI’s Board of Directors, provides comprehensive care for a full spectrum of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, movement disorders, brain and spinal tumors, head trauma, hearing disorders, stroke, sleep disorders, migraines, neuromuscular disorders, and more. Each year, RIA proudly supports CNI’s Hope Awards, Elephant Rock Cycling Festival and Annual Gala.
Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado is world renowned as a premier center for specialty rehabilitation and research for people with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. RIA is honored to support Craig’s annual PUSH Dinner and Golf Tournament, raising funds for patient assistance and research for those affected by spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.
Littleton Adventist Hospital Foundation
Part of the Centura Health Network, Littleton Adventist Hospital works to provide patients with quality care and treatment, specializing in services to include neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, women and children's services and more. RIA is proud to partner with Littleton Adventist Hospital for medical imaging services and contributes to different hospital causes by sponsoring the Hospital Foundation Golf Classic.
Rocky Mountain Healthcare Adventist Foundation
Rocky Mountain Adventist Healthcare Foundation (RMAHF) exists to ensure that Adventist Healthcare facilities along the Front Range of Colorado remain at the forefront of patient care and preventive medicine. Dollars raised by the Foundation help fund everything from medical equipment and supplies to patient financial assistance. RIA is a long-time supporter of Operation Walk Denver ("Restoring the Joy of Walking") and the Heart of Hearts Gala, benefiting breast cancer care at Avista, Littleton, Parker and Porter Hospitals.
Colorado Cancer Research Program
A nonprofit community-based cancer program, the Colorado Cancer Research Program was established to provide community hospitals and physicians access to a wide range of cancer research trials in order to provide their patients with greater options for the treatment, control, and prevention of cancer. RIA contributes to the Program’s success by donating to its Drive for a Cure golf tournament.
Raymond Wentz Foundation
The Raymond Wentz Foundation exists to help lessen the daily burdens and financial struggles experienced by cancer patients in our community and is the only organization in Colorado that gives unrestricted grants directly to needy cancer patients. To help ensure the Foundation’s success, RIA has contributed to its For the Love of Raymond wine tasting fundraiser.
Inter-Faith Community Services
Inter-Faith Community Services (IFCS) provides basic human services and enrichment programs to low-income people using community resources. Not only does RIA support IFCS annually by sponsoring a team of low-income children for the "Puttin’ on the Green" minigolf fundraiser, RIA employees also hold successful food and clothing drives during the holidays to assist IFCS with its goals.
Parker Task Force Food Bank
The Parker Task Force Food Bank is a non-profit organization operated solely by dedicated volunteers. The Mission of the Food Bank is to provide short-term support to those in need in the Parker, Franktown and Elizabeth areas. RIA’s generous employees helps stock the shelves of the Food Bank by holding food drives at company events.
Progressive Health Center
The Progressive Health Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to optimizing quality of healthcare through Integrative Medicine which includes non-traditional and traditional approaches to health and healing. The Center’s Cancer Care Initiative combines traditional therapies with nutrition, fitness, massage, acupuncture, pain management and other comprehensive services to ensure the best possible outcome for the patient. RIA proudly supports the 2012 " 2nd Annual B Strong Ride" cycling fundraising event, a collaboration between the George Karl Foundation and B Strong Ride, benefiting The Cancer Care Initiative.
Special Olympics "Ride the Rockies"
Six days. Five mountain passes. Two national parks. 442 miles. And nearly 25,000 vertical feet. Special Olympics Colorado athletes participate in this scenic trek with assistance from funds donated by RIA, as well as coaching from some of our cycling expert radiologists!
Scottsbluff, NE "Festival of Hope" & Chadron Community Hospital, NE "Circle of Light"
The Festival of Hope is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help cancer patients who live in Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming with non-medical expenses as they relate to their cancer care and treatment.
Circle of Light is a non-profit organization, associated with Chadron Community Hospital & Health Services, whose mission is to help cancer patients and their families in Box Butte, Dawes, Sheridan and Sioux Counties in Western Nebraska.
RIA, as the exclusive provider of radiology services at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE, and Chadron Community Hospital in Box Butte, NE is happy to support our regional neighbors by contributing to the these important fundraisers.
In addition to sponsorships and contributions to events and fundraisers, RIA pledges funds to organizations pursuing healthcare goals important to our community and the future of radiology:
Doctors Care® is a local nonprofit organization that helps vulnerable children and families receive the medical attention they need. RIA Invision Sally Jobe is partnered with Doctors Care to provide free radiology services to many uninsured or underinsured patients and has pledged current and future funds to ensure the organization’s long-term success. Dr. Katie Lozano, RIA radiologist, serves on the Board of Directors for Doctors Care.
Radiological Society of North America Research & Education Foundation
RIA’s contributions to the RSNA Research & Education Foundation have assisted with the $34 million in grant funding to nearly 900 young investigators, with recipients receiving from other investors an additional $30 for every $1 granted by the Foundation. This has resulted in $1 billion of funding for radiology research and education, stretching all dollars contributed by RIA that much further.
