Peter Ricci, M.D.

Dr. Ricci completed medical school and did his radiology residency at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. After completing a two year Diagnostic Neuroradiology fellowship at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ, he served as an Assistant Professor of Neuroradiology at Wake Forest University / Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While there, he served as Director of Neuroradiology MR research and edited / authored a Neuroimaging Clinics of North America volume devoted to the imaging of brain tumors. He joined Radiology Imaging Associates in 1999. His primary areas of clinical interest include advanced functional MR imaging techniques and imaging of brain tumors and stroke. Dr. Ricci is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.
